What are the Terms and Conditions of Geek Studio Inc.?

• For a period of one year following the date of shipment, Seller warrants its product(s) to the original purchaser and, in the case of original equipment manufacturers, to their original customer, to be free from defects in material and workmanship and to be made only in accordance with Seller’s standard published catalogue specifications for the product(s).
• Unless specifically stated in writing by the seller and included in any and all contracts, including but not limited to purchase orders, sales orders, order confirmations, purchase contracts, and purchase agreements, this guarantee does not cover performance to any other specifications.
• If the product(s) have been improperly installed, used, stored, or maintained, or if the buyer has allowed any unauthorized modifications, adjustments, and/or repairs to the product (s), in no case shall Seller be accountable or have any liability under such guarantee

• Seller’s obligation under this agreement is solely limited to, in Seller’s sole discretion, repairing or replacing at the factory any product(s) or parts thereof that prove to Seller’s satisfaction to be defective due to defective materials, workmanship, and within the time period specified by the Seller’s stated product warranty (per above). Provided, however, that written notice of claimed defects has been given to Seller within thirty (30) days of the date of delivery, Seller shall have a reasonable opportunity to inspect the claimed defects.
• The product(s) in question must be shipped back to the seller, with shipping costs covered by the buyer, together with a written description of the alleged problem. Evidence must be provided that the alleged flaws were not brought on by someone other than the seller’s usage, abuse, or neglect.
• The owner of the product is liable for the shipping costs associated with units that are shipped back to the factory for warranty repairs. All warranty repairs or replacements will be shipped back by the seller via UPS Ground at no extra cost to the buyer.

No warranty provided herein shall apply if any modification, alteration, or removal of any part or product carried out by a party other than the seller, or without the seller’s written consent, results in any injury to a person or damage to property. In such a case, the Buyer shall hold the seller harmless from any claim, demand, loss, expense, or liability, including attorneys’ fees, arising from such injury or damage.

Only the time period that was left on the original guarantee would be covered by the replacement product’s warranty.

Geek’s Extended Warranty covers all defects and malfunctions as covered in a standard manufacturer’s warranty. It does not cover any physical or liquid damage, accessories, and consumables like filters or any maintenance service. Repair requests may be availed as many times as required, however, the coverage amount is limited up to the invoice value of the device.
